Cornwall College has a Charter for Sustainable Development, and our sustainability policy has recently been approved by our Corporate Management Team. This will shortly be available on the Intranet and then will be updated for the year 2009-10.
What is Sustainability?
Sustainability can be seen as an ideal state where human activity does not degrade the environment, but maintains natural systems and resources for future generations. Sustainable development is the process that moves us closer to sustainability.
Come to the CCSU Environment site! This is where I will endeavour to keep you all updated with what's going on environmentally throughout the College. This is also the place for you to make suggestions, so that we can work together in making Cornwall College as Green as we possibly can!
